SOUTHEND United fans have their say on Saturday's 3-0 defeat at Chesterfield.
Loud but a disappointing result! Taylor class as always in CB. Got to see Cards back and Waldron get minutes. Play-off now our focus.
@PaulyL07
Didn't expect anything coming to the league leaders. Battled hard and probably had the better chances in the first half. Lacking a cutting edge. Our supporters steal the show today. By far the greatest fans in the National League. Probably the best in the world! Proud Shrimper!

Obviously a disappointing result as thought we might sneak a point today. A fairly even game but we need to take our chances & be clinical like they were if we’re to challenge for the play offs!
@tommyharris57
Clinical finishing made the difference today but great effort from the lads once again.

The difference was the front of goal. They were clinical, that’s what we have to strive to be that going on if we’re to get promoted either this season or next.
@glentiesbhoy
Bad day at the office. We go again.
@SimonGDodd
They're on a different level to the rest of this league. Two months ago we just about managed to get a team out.
@sufcberry
Pretty even game they took chances. We looked good up until final third. Bring in a ruthless striker and another creative player and we will be more than alright.
@NickyHanshaw
We just can't finish after all the hard work getting there. Fantastic support as usual.
@cjblues2505
Move on, go again next week. Chesterfield are clinical and they're walking the division. In a just world where it's three up/down, they wouldn't even be in this league. Take the L and back to work Monday. Could hear the away support for 90 minutes on stream. The world's best!
@ShaunMalone1997
Clinical finishing the difference. Otherwise more then matched them and can’t fault the effort. Work in progress, our time will come. Support first class as always.
@ConorSammon100
I think 3 - 0 flattered Chesterfield, lots of possession but lacked any cutting edge, and finishing was the difference. We didn't take our chances, they did. First class support as always.
@steveg671
A missed opportunity today - loads of possession but no cutting edge in the final third. Plenty of chances but just couldn’t take them. A vast contrast to Chesterfield who finished clinically.
@djmikejolly
We looked a bit ring rusty, Chesterfield were sharp, they pass the ball quickly and were obviously better than us at finishing. We can learn from this game and there are still many points to play for.
