CONCORD Rangers suffered a painful 4-3 defeat at Potters Bar Town in the Isthmian Premier Division on Saturday.

The third from bottom Beach Boys fought back from two goals down to lead 3-2 with Harrison Day bagging a brace after Ola Bello had also netted.

However, the hosts scored twice in stoppage time to secure a dramatic win.

There was also disappointment for Billericay Town, Canvey Island and Hashtag United.

Third placed Billericay lost 2-1 at home to Folkestone Invicta who have risen to 15th.

The Kent club moved into a 2-0 lead before Frankie Merrifield netted a late consolation for Town.

Canvey Island, who are 13th, lost 3-0 at home to fifth placed Enfield Town while Hashtag United were beaten 2-1 at home to Horsham.

Pedro Carvalho put the 12th placed Tags in front in the first half before the visitors fought back to triumph.

In Isthmian North, third placed Bowers & Pitsea fought back from conceding an early goal to win 3-1 at Stowmarket Town.

Solomon Addy scored twice while Benas Vaivada also netted.

Elsewhere, Chris Taylor won his first game as Basildon United boss as they beat Witham Town 4-0 at the TLM Environmental Stadium.

Samir Ali scored twice while Clyde Semazzi and Callum Fitzer were also on target for the seventh placed Bees.

In the Essex Senior League, Hullbridge Sports won 2-1 at Saffron Walden Town.

Jay Leader and Adam Topley netted for Hullbridge who are now fifth.
