HASHTAG United won 4-2 at Billericay Town on Saturday to condemn their hosts to a sixth successive defeat.

Sakariya Hassan fired Tags in front in the 54th minute before Town equalised eight minutes later with Callum Jones on target in his first game since signing on loan from Chelmsford City.

However, Tags hit back with Luke May-Parrott scoring twice in quick succession before Jermaine Anderson made it 4-1 three minutes from time.

Billericay got a goal back in stoppage time with Alfie Cerulli firing home but it was not enough to stop another disappointing day for Gary McCann’s side in front of a crowd of 1,202.

Despite the poor run, Billericay remain third in the Isthmian Premier Division standings while Hashtag’s win kept them 12th.

Elsewhere, Canvey Island drew 2-2 at Lewes with three of the four goals coming in stoppage time.

Ryan Gondoh put Lewes in front just past the hour mark before Gulls substitute Sam Higgins equalised in the 90th minute.

Jake Elliott put the home-side back in front two minutes into stoppage time before Higgins netted again at the death.

Canvey are 15th in the table.
