SOUTHEND United boss Kevin Maher had words of praise for goalkeeper Collin Andeng Ndi following his wonder save during the 1-1 draw at Oldham Athletic.
Andeng Ndi dived full length to his left to somehow deny Nathan Sheron when the game was still goalless.
And Maher was among those to be impressed by the stop.
“It was a brilliant save,” said Maher.
“It looked like it was going in the net so real credit for him for that.
“He did well and I have to save the one their keeper made to stop Gus (Scott-Morriss) scoring was top drawer as well.”
Sheron eventually fired Oldham in front on the hour mark before Noor Husin made sure of a share of the spoils for the Shrimpers with an equaliser in the 79th minute.
