BASILDON Rugby Club's under 18 girls side face Winscombe in the semi-finals of the National Cup on Sunday.
Basildon finished top of Pool One SE London before beating Eton Manor and Worthing to set up this weekend's clash in the final four.
And coach Simon Beadle is pleased with how preparations have gone.
"The team have worked hard in the build up to the semi-final," said Beadle.
"We have had additional training sessions and additional warm up games too.
"The players are all looking forward to the challenge of a national cup semi-final.
"Having been in the semi-final for the last two years we have players that have experience and knowledge of how to deal with this high pressure game."
Nine of Basildon's team are currently studying at Henley and Oakland rugby academies and are also part of the Oxford and Saracens set up.
