SOUTHEND Saxons made it back to back wins at the start of Regional One South East after triumphing 34-27 at Amersham & Chiltern on Saturday.
In Regional Two Anglia, Westcliff beat Chelmsford 66-12 while Rochford Hundred were beaten 33-27 at Woodford.
In Counties One Essex, Basildon beat Mavericks 34-32 for their first win of the season.
In Counties Two Essex, Canvey Island beat Kelvedon & Feering 55-8 while Billericay drew 25-25 at Kings Cross Steelers.
South Woodham Ferrers lost 36-0 at home to Stanford le Hope.
