SOUTHEND United fans have their say on Tuesday night's 1-1 draw at Wealdstone.
It was a very 0-0 game. Wealdstone interested in stopping us play and waiting for a set piece to score from, us without too much incisiveness going forward bar 2 or 3 chances. In the absence of Miley we missed Morton. Lose as little as you can away from home, that’s key. No panic.

Players deserve some credit for digging in and getting a point after conceding so late but overall that was pretty poor. Maybe some tiredness after so many games recently and lack of pre-season for some. But, as the table suggests, we look a mid-table National League team.

Very disappointing after the game last Saturday.

Biggest worry was seeing HT injury. Hope it’s nothing that keeps him out for long he’s huge for us.

My first away game for maybe 30 years, loved it, loved the atmosphere. An average 1st hour, battered them after that, god only knows how we don’t score. When they scored I thought we was done, but full credit to the players, they kept going and got a decent point.

Genuinely awful spectacle in the first half. Seemed to change on the hour when Morton came on and we seemed to run at Wealdstone more and create a few chances. The Wealdstone goal was a shocker from our point of view. However delighted we had one more move left in us to level it.
@JimboCambo
The longer it went on you knew they were going to score. A draw was probably all we deserved as we are still very wasteful in front of goal. Worrying injury to Taylor and Ralphs impending suspension will test the squad tother limit.
@dfitzger60
You'd be gutted if you'd left at 90 mins.
@LawrenceBenge
I understand it takes time to rebuild but why are we worse than last season? Another poor performance, no consistency in this team at all.
@JayDavis93
Frustrated not to have won but some games things just don’t work out and we were flat tonight. What’s more frustrating is the fixable basics: e.g. our corners either don’t get past the first defender or go sailing over everyone . Presumably we practice them?
