SOUTHEND United boss Kevin Maher will again be without midfielder Cav Miley against Gateshead at Roots Hall tomorrow.
Miley has missed the last six matches with a back problem.
And Maher confirmed the 29-year-old is not yet ready to return.
"Cav is still in a process of seeing a specialist about his back," said Maher.
"There are certain things he's got to tick off before he's ready to come back in.
"It's quite a complicated one so he's still a couple of weeks away from behind involved."
Miley joins Oli Coker (ankle) and Danny Waldron (knee) on the sidelines.
The duo will also miss out again this weekend but Maher admitted Coker is closer to making a return.
"Oli Coker has been outside with the medical staff doing a little bit of work on the grass so he's starting to step that up," said Maher.
"Danny Waldron is still a few weeks away."
