SOUTHEND diving star Todd Geggus will represent Great Britain at the World Junior Championship in Brazil next month.

The 17-year-old star, who trains at the club based at Southend Leisure and Tennis Centre, has been selected for the one metre and three metre springboard events.

And he could also feature in the three metre synchro event.

Head coach, Shân Veasey said: “We are delighted with the recent success of the club. “It is the result of hard work by all of our divers and our coaching team and we are really proud that it is paying off.”

The World Junior Championships are being held in Rio de Janeiro and will get underway on Sunday November 24.

Todd is one of just nine GB divers to have been selected.
