AT one stage Ware, today's visitors to Rookery Hill, looked like crashing out of the play-off stakes.
But they have bounced back recently and, despite a 2-1 defat at the hands of top dogs Aveley last week, are well-placed.
They are currently fourth but trail tomorrow’s East Thurrock hosts by seven points from a game more.
Rocks are on something of a crest of a wave and only relinquished the leadership back to Aveley last week when they were held 2-2 at a Wingate & Finchley side just outside the promotion hopefuls in sixth position.
