HAVING lost top spot a fortnight ago when they suffered a home defeat at the hands of lowly Waltham Forest, Aveley will be anxious to avoid a similar fate this weekend.
Tomorrow the Millers host a Potters Bar Town side lying 14th in the table and will be keen to keep the leadership they regained last week.
Aveley’s goal power will be considerably strengthened by the arrival of Great Wakering’s top striking star Neil Richmond.
Potters Bar’s recent record is patchy due to postponements, but they did pull off a 4-0 home success over Thamesmead Town in their last appearance 10 days ago and have improved a lot since the appointment of a new management team in December.
