WESTCLIFF were thrashed 52-0 at relegation rivals Stevenage Town in London Two North this afternoon.
But London Three North East, table topping Rochford Hundred continued their push for promotion with a 42-11 win at home to Saffron Walden.
Thurrock also won, beating Mersea Island 31-12 while Canvey Island superbly beat Colchester 13-10 in London Four North East.
Basildon won narrowly 20-19 at Crusaders and South Woodham Ferrers enjoyed a 24-18 victory at Wymondham.
Billericay were not so fortunate though and lost 22-0 at Ipswich.
