MK DONS boss Paul Ince is confident his side can bounce back at Roots Hall tonight.

Dons were beaten 5-1 at Charlton Athletic last weekend.

But Ince was happy with his side’s performance and has no concerns ahead of taking on the Shrimpers.

“We don’t need to lift our players for the Southend game,” said Ince. “I think to compete with a very good Charlton team for 60 minutes we have got to take positives out if it.

“It was disappointing to lose like that, but we were quietly pleased that for the first hour of the game we were the better side.

“The outcome of the game was changed by the ref’s decisions.”

Dons are currently fourth in the League One table and have won three of their last four matches.

Former Blues loanee Dean Morgan will again be in their squad, along with ex-Southend trialist Dan Woodards.
