Paul Sturrock has allowed Stuart O'Keefe to join Crystal Palace from Blues
STUART O’Keefe has joined Crystal Palace from Southend United.
The 19-year-old midfielder has signed for the Eagles on a free transfer but Blues have secured a sell on clause as part of the deal.
Subsequently, they will receive a percentage of any transfer fee during the first 36 months of his spell at Selhurst Park. O’Keefe came through the youth system at Roots Hall and made ten appearances for the first team.
He will team up with former Southend skipper Adam Barrett at Palace, along with ex-Blues striker Dougie Freedman who is now assistant manager with the Eagles.
