GEOFFREY King is to leave his position as the chief executive of Southend United.
The Echo understands that King is to focus his attentions on the property company Martin Dawn, which is owned by Blues chairman Ron Martin.
King, who has been at the club for 12 years, will be replaced as the chief executive at Roots Hall.
But, as part of the change, the club’s commercial director Ian Riddoch is to depart.
