SOUTH Essex's non-league teams have seen today's scheduled league matches wiped out by the weather.
The games affected were: Thurrock v Havant & Waterlooville in Blue Square South; Aveley v Carshalton, Billericay Town v Maidstone, Concord Rangers v Bury Town and Tonbridge Angels in the Ryman Premier.
In Ryman One North Grays Athletic v Heybridge Swifts, Great Wakering Rovers v Wingate & Finchley, Leyton v East Thurrock United and Tilbury v Waltham Forest fell foul of the freezing weather.
And in the Essex Senior League Basildon United v Eton Manor, Hullbridge Sports v Clapton, Southend Manor v Enfield 1893 and Takeley v Bowers & Pitsea were also called off.
