Westcliff travel to Tring in National Three London & SE tomorrow looking to avoid a fourth straight defeat.
But their cause will not be helped by a number of injuries.
New signing Jaba Kividsi injured his shoulder while making his debut against Tonbridge Juddians last week and he will be missing from the starting line-up.
Jon Sigwart is also unavailable, along with skipper Simon Jones, Sam Newbury, Elliot Harvey and Paul Radley all out, much to the frustration of the club’s press officer Geoff Sawyer.
"These injuries could not have come at a worse time for us,” said Sawyer.
“While we are not in the relegation zone every point is vital if we are to avoid dropping into it.
“We played very well indeed against Tonbridge Juddian last week and we were well satisfied to be only 23-10 down towards the end of the game.
“It was only when the visitors found some gaps in a tiring defence that they drew comfortably away, but we can certainly take positives from that performance.”
Westcliff are also likely to hand new signing Bryn Hudson his debut at number eight this weekend.
And they will be hoping to condemn their fourth places hosts to another shock defeat after they lost art ninth placed London Irish Amateur in their last outing.
