ESSEX had a fantastic day at the UK Intercounties Cross-Country Championships.
They struck gold through Jessica Judd in the under-17 women's race and courtesy of the under-15 girls in the team standings.
Among that gold medal-winning under-15 girls team was Rayleigh's Millie Smith, as well as Georgia Tuckfield, Lydia Hallam and Amelia Barrett.
Jodie Judd helped the team to two medals - a fantastic bronze in the individual under-13 girls race and a silver in the team standings.
The final medal of the day for Essex went to the under-13 boys team who had Basildon AC duo Max Jones and Ben Haynes among their scorers.
These selection of fantastic pictures were taken by Trish Tippett and Catherine Ashley at the championships.
