SOUTHEND United manager Paul Sturrock has made five changes to his starting line-up for this afternoon’s game at Hereford.
The Scotsman has handed new signing Christian Dailly an immediate debut in the central midfield as he replaces the suspended Anthony Grant while Ryan Hall has been recalled in place of Lee Sawyer on the right wing.
Kane Ferdinand also returns in place of David Martin and that means Michael Timlin will move out on to the left hand side of midfield while further forward Elliot Benyon comes in for the injured Jack Sampson.
At the back, Chris Barker is back in the team after serving a one match suspension and he replaces Peter Gilbert as Luke Prosser moves to left-back.
Southend United: Belford, Clohessy, Phillips, Barker, Prosser, Hall, Ferdinand, Dailly, Timlin, Benyon, Harris
Substitutes: Sawyer, Hills, Flood, Martin & Sturrock
