THE SEASON SO FAR

Wigan look well set to secure an immediate return to the Championship. The Latics are currently two points clear at the top of the League One table and have not been beaten in their last 16 games.

Paul Cook’s side have been beaten just three times in 28 League games so far this season.

RECENT FORM

Wigan have not been beaten since November and arrive at Roots Hall on the back of four successive wins. The Latics beat West Ham United in the FA Cup at the end of January and host Manchester City in the fifth round of the competition later this month.

STYLE OF PLAY

Wigan are expected to line-up in a 4-2-3-1 formation this weekend. The Latics have scored 55 goals in their 28 games this season, more than any other team in the division.
