SOUTHEND United fans have their say on Tuesday night's 2-1 win at Stevenage.

Great performance from the team. Heads dropped a bit after Stevenage’s goal but nerves calmed when he equalised. Bwomono a stand out player.

Was great with Kelman, Bishop, Elvis and white. So brilliant to be in the second round after nine years.

Great to get the win. Excellent from Elvis and Charlie. Thought Macca had a great first half. Good to see Jonny White come on and Bishop starting. Being greedy would have been nice to kill game off earlier with a few more goals but lets build on this win and look forward to Lincoln.

One word..ELVIS!

4-4-2. I’ve said it a thousand times, it’s our best formation. And when you have full-backs like Ralph and Elvis we have more than enough attacking options. Lets hope we can get some momentum going now and win on Saturday.

Much, much better. Great match from Elvis, simply sensational. Ralph also excellent and Charlie took his goals well. We must start Bishop on Saturday.

That performance was full of energy. 10/10 from every player. Hard to single anyone out as man of the match but at a push I’d give it to Milligan. John White solid as a rock when he came on. Positioning much better than Lennon or Shaughnessy. Absolutely has to stay in the team.

Unreal performance. Bishop to start Saturday and Kelman as an impact sub.

First 10 minutes we played the best football we’ve played this season. Conceding the goal deflated us. Much the better team in the second half and deservedly winners. Bwomono first class.

Quality from Elvis as always. Great goals from Kelman. Hopefully Bond has seen that Bishop has to start on Saturday, deserves to play. Nice to see us through to the second round.

4-4-2 at last. Great performance all round but Elvis was the stand out player for me. Defence were more assured with John White in the back four. Milligan quietly gets the job done in the middle and of course great finishes from our Charlie.

Terrible first half, abysmal passing. Trying to feed Cox and Kelman with hoofs. Second half was better but remember…it was Stevenage.

Came out and played some great football before their goal seemed to knock the wind out of us. Good to see them come back out with the same intensity and Kelman took both his goals well. Another great performance down the right from Elvis.

Great win, especially after going a goal down against the run of play. Kelman seems like a natural goalscorer which is a real plus. Bwomono excellent again. Must stick with 4-4-2 though.
