SOUTHEND United skipper Mark Milligan will face a fitness check before Blues' clash at Lincoln City on Saturday.
Milligan took a whack to the head during Tuesday night's 2-1 win at Stevenage in the Carabao Cup.
And Blues boss Kevin Bond is unsure whether or not he will be able to call on Milligan against the Imps.
"Milly hasn’t trained today," said Bond.
"He took a whack to the head on Tuesday and had a terrible headache for the entire second half.
"In fairness I don’t think anyone could’ve seen but I just told him to look after himself especially with all the games we have coming up so we’ll see how he is tomorrow."
Harry Lennon came off after his knock to the head during the Stevenage cup tie and Bond added the defender could 'potentially' miss out this weekend.
However, winger Stephen McLaughlin is back in training after suffering an ankle problem against Stevenage.
