FORMER Southend United left-back Ben Coker has sealed a switch to Lincoln City.
Coker spent six seasons with the Shrimpers, making 208 appearances, before leaving at the end of last season.
But the defender - who is still working his way back to full fitness after suffering a cruciate ligament last October - is looking forward to a fresh start.
Coker told the Imps' official website: "I’m buzzing to be here, I’ve never been up north.
"I’m really excited to get going, I can’t wait.
"Once the opportunity came up, I jumped at the chance to come here.
"I knew a few of the lads and there are a few accents similar to mine so it’ll be easy to settle in!
"I can’t wait to get back out on the grass and show the fans what I’m capable of.”
Lincoln won League Two last season and have made a strong start in League One, beating Blues 4-0 last weekend.
