Training with Blues - goalkeeper Jordan Archer
FORMER Millwall goalkeeper Jordan Archer is training with Southend United.
Archer made 166 appearances for the Lions during four years at the New Den but left at the end of last season and has yet to find another club.
And Archer, who worked with Blues’ goalkeeping coach Lee Harrison while on loan at Wycombe Wanderers, is maintaining his fitness by working with the Shrimpers.
Ex Southend goalkeeper Ted Smith is also back training at the club.
Smith, who came through the youth ranks at Roots Hall to make 30 appearances for the first team, had been on trial at both Swindon Town and Tottenham Hotspur earlier this summer but has yet to join another club.
