MARK Milligan and Nathan Ralph both face late fitness checks on hamstring problems ahead of Saturday’s clash with Fleetwood Town.

Milligan dropped out of the Australia squad earlier this week with an injury while Ralph has been troubled by a hamstring niggle since coming off against Peterborough United last month.

And Blues’ caretaker boss Gary Waddock is unsure if the duo will be fit to face Fleetwood at Roots Hall.

“We’re monitoring Mark and he’s back in now,” said Waddock.

“He was out with Ben (Clarkson) this morning and we’ll see tomorrow whether he’s available or not.

“He had a slight hamstring problem in the camp with Australia and we will monitor him in the next 24 hours or so.”

And Waddock will also be monitoring Ralph’s fitness before finalising his starting line-up.

"Nathan's been out training for the last couple of days," said Waddock.

"He did some work with Ben today and we will see if there’s a reaction tomorrow.

"But we need to go into the game with players who are 100 per cent fit and available."

However, centre-backs John White (ankle) and Liam Ridgewell (calf) are both likely to miss out.

"John's injury has settled down and it’s not as bad as we first feared but I think Saturday might be too early for him," said Waddock.

"Liam's still out with a calf problem but it won’t keep him out for too long."
