TYLER Cordner has completed a move to Weymouth.
The defender ended last season on loan at Southend United from Bournemouth.
But he has now opted against signing for Blues on a permanent basis and has instead joined Weymouth, much to the delight of boss Brian Stock.
“He’s a player that has bags of potential,” said Stock.
“One thing I love about Tyler is that he’s gone out and experienced those games at lower league level and also in the League.
“Sometimes when players leave academy football and they’ve not experienced those appearances, it becomes difficult to find another club.
“But Tyler’s done that, he’s gone out and performed well.
“He’s commanding, 6ft 4, nearly 6ft 5, so aerially he brings a lot to the table, but he’s a player that brings that side to the table as well as the playing side.
“He’s a big signing for us in that aspect.”
