TWO goalkeepers are pulling out all the stops to give would-be custodians the chance to improve their game.
Dean Neil, now at Essex Senior League club Bowers and Pitsea during an illustrious non-league career, and Paul Griffin, who has coached many keepers up to Football League club level, have joined forces.
And they are planning a coaching course for keepers at Basildon’s Markhams Chase sports field on Monday, December 22.
It will start at 9am and finish at 2pm at a cost of £15 per child and will go through the whole goalkeeping syllabus before finishing with shooting drills involving Chelmsford City’s ex-Southend United striker James Lawson.
The whole day will be sponsored by Neil’s Pro-Tek goalkeeper glove which is due to be launched in February.
The one-day school is open to boys and girls of all ages and ability. If you want to book a place ring Neil on 0752 5535629.
