IT’S a big week for West Ham United, with Bolton Wanderers and Tottenham Hotspur visiting the London Stadium.

But I am confident that the Hammers will win both of those games.

Slaven Bilic has been getting a lot of stick since the start of the season, but he is the right man for West Ham.

The players and Bilic were getting criticised for losing the first three games of the season, but they have put in two much improved performances against Huddersfield Town and West Bromwich Albion.

West Ham totally dominated Huddersfield and could have won by more than two goals, while they went to West Brom, who don’t drop many points at home, and were good value for their point.

Bilic has done really well considering the club has only spent £4million - when you take into consideration player sales and wages - in the last couple of years and he doesn’t get the credit he deserves.

It helps that a few injured players are coming back, with Andy Carroll and Michail Antonio being excellent.

I think Bilic will rest a couple of players - as all Premier League managers do in the League Cup - tomorrow.

I would leave out my two most important players, and one of them for me is Carroll.

A breather could help him and they need to keep him fit.

West Ham also have a strong bench now, with Andre Ayew and Diafra Sakho being good options to come on and cause problems, while there is also Angelo Ogbonna, Mark Noble and Declan Rice ready to come into the team.

The home matches against Chelsea - in the League Cup - and Tottenham were the two best atmospheres at the new stadium last season and the fans will be up for the derby on Saturday.

The players will be as well, because they will react to the crowd. Hopefully they will get the win.
