WEST Ham United’s 3-0 win at Stoke City rounded off a brilliant seven days for the club.

Everyone had a right to question the appointment of David Moyes because of his record elsewhere. But he has proved the doubters wrong and the Hammers are in good form now.

You would never have dreamed of beating Chelsea, drawing with Arsenal and then thumping Stoke after the performances and results beforehand.

Moyes got off to a difficult start by losing to Watford and Everton, but the players look sharper now and West Ham are keeping clean sheets.

Marko Arnautovic looks a totally different player now. He looks hungry and he came back to haunt Stoke.

He got a lot of stick from the crowd and he got his goal.

I always knew Arnautovic was a good player but Moyes is getting the best out of him now. He looks good in a front two - alongside Michail Antonio - and his pace and strength, combined with his skill, makes him a nightmare for defenders.

He celebrated his goal against his former club on Saturday and that pleased me. I never understand why players don’t celebrate a goal, regardless of who it is against.

I remember scoring twice against West Ham while playing for Bournemouth and I celebrated.

It appears as though Arnautovic is feeling more at home now and the supporters have taken to him.

The first goal came from a Mark Noble penalty after Manuel Lanzini was fouled.

Some people have questioned whether it was a dive but I thought it was a penalty.

Lanzini stumbled but he was caught so I think the referee was right and I don’t think he will face retrospective action.

Diafra Sakho wrapped up the scoring and it was good to also see James Collins make his return.
