WEST Ham manager Alan Curbishley has re-stated that his summer spending spree may not yet be over.
Curbishley, who has spent more than £20million on five new signings, admitted the East Enders may make another attempt to sign Newcastle United forward Keiron Dyer.
The Irons had hoped to sign the England player earlier this month, only for the deal to collapse at the last minute.
"We've been active for the last couple of weeks, but when you get into the season it gets more difficult," said Curbishley.
"We're keen to try and do some things and we'll have to see if anything happens.
"The Dyer thing got pulled at the 11th hour, as everyone knows, and I don't think there's been any contact. We'll see what goes on next week."
However, Curbishley dismissed reports linking the club to his Magpies team-mate Nolberto Solano.
