Furtherwick Park School, A Specialist College for the Media Arts held an Age Concern Lunch on Thursday 10th July 2008.
Members from Age Concern were treated to a two course dinner served by some of our students who are: Haydn Plumb Year 18, Dax Rice Year 8, Dulcie Jenner-Wilson Year 8, Annie Hipperson Year 8, Ellis Lillywhite Year 8, Emma Brown Year 9, Rosie Butterfield Year 9, Michael Coulson Year 9, Matthew Ray Year 9. Students worked extremely hard to make it a memorable occasion for the members. Afterwards a raffle took place followed by entertainment provided by some of our talented students.
Chairman, Mrs Dot Axford, Age Concern said “Thank you to the Staff and Students of Furtherwick Park School, for putting on such a lovely day. We have all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will look forward to seeing you again soon”.
Year 9 student, Michael Coulson said, “I have really enjoyed helping out and meeting the members from Age Concern. They were very friendly and appreciated all what we did for them”.
