Benfleet Road closed following three-vehicle crash

BENFLEET Road has been closed following a three-vehicle crash.

A black Citroën DS3, a blue Audi A4 and a white Vauxhall Mivano collided shortly before 10.30am.

Paramedics, police and firefighters are currently on the scene.

The road, in Benfleet, is expected to remain closed until mid-afternoon.

It so happens that one of the vehicles involved was carrying two of my daily carers whom I see three times a day.These were the ones who had to be cut out of their car.I am pleased to report that one has returned home from hospital,whilst I think the other is still receiving attention.I wish them both well and look forward to their return.
