SNOOKER champion Stuart Bingham has revealed he bought the table he won the final on.
Speaking on The Clare Balding Show, the star says he paid £6,500 for the table and said he watches a recording of the final every day.
As the table was bought in a silent auction, self proclaimed "snooker geek" Bingham didn't know who he was bidding against.
He also paid £1,000 for the set of balls and quipped his rival Shaun Murphy said he would bid £1 more and smash the yellow ball he so memorably missed.
Bingham, from Vange, saw off Shaun Murphy 18-15 in a memorable final at the Crucible earlier this month.
He was joined on the sofa by Susie Wolff and Pat Cash.
- The show will be airing tonight, Thursday, May 14 at 8pm & 11pm on BT Sport 1 and on Friday, May 15 on BBC2 at 10pm.
