YOU’VE probably seen him on hit TV shows such as Mock the Week and Eight Out of Ten Cats, and now you have a chance to do so live. Josh Widdicombe – Guardian sports reporter turned comedian – appears at the Cliffs Pavilion, Westcliff, on Wednesday, May 14, with his show called Incidentally.
Josh established himself on the live circuit supporting comedy names such as Stephen Merchant, Kevin Bridges, Michael McIntyre and Alan Carr.
He has since gone on to have two sell-out UK tours and two sell-out runs at the Edinburgh Festival.
Josh also received an Edinburgh Comedy Awards’ best newcomer nomination, has appeared in three series of critically-acclaimed hit Channel 4 show the Last Leg and three series of Channel 4’s Stand Up For The Week.
He has also starred in Celebrity Mastermind, BBC2’s QI, Alan Carr’s Chatty Man and Channel 4’s Comedy Gala in aid of Great Ormond Street Hospital 2012 and 2013.
His debut DVD, Josh Widdicombe Live – And Another Thing…, came from the world-famous Hammersmith Apollo and was released by Universal Pictures (UK) in November.
Incidentally is Josh’s biggest UK tour to date.
