IF you have a child who might appreciate the alternative kind of fairy tale, The Grimmest of Grimm Tales could be just for them.
It's coming up at the Towngate Theatre, Basildon, on Wednesday June 1.
The Brothers Grimm collected together over 200 different stories. In this brand new family comedy - which has music an puppetry - The Story Squad introduce a whole new cast of Grimm's characters - Godfather Death, Hans My Hedgehog... and a deceased chicken.
The show has been written by Jane Deane, an actress and director with over 20 years experience in family theatre, entertainment and TV (CBeebies/BBC). It has been produced by Avva Laff Productions.
The Grimmest of Grimm tales is the company’s second theatre-based production, having built up an excellent reputation over the past 12 years creating and producing family comedy shows for Legoland, Windsor Resort.
Two performances are on at 11am and 3pm.
Tickets are £10 for adults, £8 for children and £30 for families of two adults and two children.
