THEY say they formed by mistake in 2010, but Absolution have been writing, playing and developing ever since.
Describing themselves as a blues-rock power trio, they compare themselves to a souped-up Cream, while Blues in Britain magazine likened them to an early version of ZZ Top or Free.
Playing a gig at Riga on Saturday, the outfit have managed to bag themselves support slots with Canvey band Dr Feelgood and they’ve taken to the stage at London’s swanky Embassy Club.
With plenty of energy and enthusiasm, the band have picked up quite a following with their original material and fresh interpretations of blues classics. They play at Riga, London Road, Westcliff on Saturday at 8pm.
