LEGENDARY Canvey musician Wilko Johnson has had to cancel his final two gigs.
The ex-Dr Feelgood guitarist, diagnosed with terminal pancreatic cancer, had been due to take to the stage at the Oysterfleet on Canvey tonight and tomorrow but is not well enough to perform.
Just on Friday night he performed at an outdoor gig alongside 80s band Madness at the closure of BBC Television Centre in London.
His manager Bob Hoy said: "He's not in bad spirits but he feels too physically unwell to perform. If he could get up on stage and perform he would love to do it but sadly he can't."
