i don't think anyone is really, also think they should not have rented out those 15 parking spots to other buisness places though as it can be tricky to get a spot sometimes, surely the customer comes first.

You mean like customers gullable enough to pay Tesco's, Sainsburys' and Morrison's prices for what is, basically, the same products? Perhaps you are right.

Just because they have applied for planning permission doesn't mean it will happen -- it just means they are making such a move possible in the future. My local pub was granted a 24-hour drinking license, but that never happened.

Who's a snob then? there is nothing wrong with Aldi. the food is of very good quality, & the value is excellent!! they wouldn't win "supermarket of the year" if they were bad!!

It’s not the customers that are the problem in the Westcliff shop, it’s the staff. They are so ****ing rude to the customers and even shout at them, they are always in such foul moods. Customer service = NIL. I guess that’s why they are so cheap, no staff training costs. Sack them all and close the shop. If you ever ask where anything is they just continue throwing stuff around, grunt and wave an arm in the air. I’ve stopped going there and actually go past this Aldi to go to the one in Eastern Ave where the staff are so polite and speak to customers in a courteous and clam manor.
