Police hunt for slipper burglars who stole pearl necklace

Echo: Police hunt for slipper burglars who stole pearl necklace Police hunt for slipper burglars who stole pearl necklace

BURGLARS have stolen a pearl necklace, a three figure cash sum and ... a pair of slippers.

The new brown slippers, from Marks and Spencer, were still in the carrier bag when the home, in Exford Avenue, Westcliff, was broken into on Wednesday, December 18.

Entry was gained after a pane of glass in the back door was smashed.

Investigating officer, Dc Andy Copley, said the stolen slippers were a men’s size seven.

He said: "Maybe you live in the area and received a pair of similar slippers for Christmas, and were a bit suspicious about their origin? I’d like to hear from anyone with any information at all that could help to solve this crime.”

Anyone with information is urged to contact Dc Copley at Southend CID, on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

Shame on you all for making jokes about houses being burgled. We were burgled just before Christmas and whilst very little was stolen, our back door was smashed and thieves walked mud through the house and ransacked the bedrooms looking for goods. Police told us we were the fifth visit that evening. The inconvenience and the knowledge that someone has gone through your personal items is truly horrendous. Clearly break ins are on the up and something must be done to stop this type of crime. For those that can make a joke of it, hope you don't have to go through this

Well I think it's racist don't you. Stealing a pearl necklace is the height of racism isn't it. Think about it.

As for your other comment, you are the worst chavscum round here. Always banging on about racism. You haven't accused anybody of it on this thread yet. What's the matter, frustrated? What's the problem?

I will tell you your problem. You are a huge bore, a troll and the very worst kind of hypocrite.

Burglary is a serious crime and has serious consequences for its victims and here you are minimising it with your hateful remarks in your last post above.

Who the hell do you think you are? Standing judge and jury on everyone.

Go and buy yourself a new set of net curtains, you've worn out the existing ones.

Kim it is of course you minimising this and many other threads with your rather strange rants...the poster you bludgeon with your hateful remarks while accusing him of hateful remarks is not who you think he is...he is a pale imitation...how many times does that need to be told to you before it sinks in?

LastLaugh2 isn't lastlaugh...the latter user name has gone, left, moseyed to the user place in the ether, grazes among ex-user names, no longer bears that name.. its a past name.. a ghost of one..Kim, do you see dead user names?
