POLICE investigating a burglary in Southend have released an E-Fit of a man they want to speak with.

The break-in happened at an address at The Grove between 8.30am and 3.30pm on Monday January 13.

Intruders kicked open the front door, ransacked rooms and took electrical items valued at a four-figure sum.

The items included a black Toshiba laptop, an iPad2, a 250G Xbox, a 4G Xbox, three console controllers and a pair of Turtle Beach headphones.

Investigating officer, Dc Christian Forbes said: "I’d really urge everyone to take a close look at this E-fit and see if they can recognise the man pictured, as it could help us to solve this crime. "

Any witnesses, anyone who saw or heard any suspicious activity in the area or anyone offered any of these items in suspicious circumstances should contact the investigating officer, Dc Forbes, at Southend CID on 101 or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
