New Wickford group offers help on mental health issues
A NEW support group is trying to tackle the issues of mental health at a weekly meet up in Wickford.
The group, set up by Bernie Bentley, runs from her Wickford home and gives people a chance to meet up each week to talk about issues with people in similar situations.
The group has been running for a number of weeks, and sessions take place every Friday morning.
Home-made cakes, biscuits, juice, and hot drinks are all provided.
The group took part in last week’s Time to Talk national event, aimed at getting people to discuss mental health problems as much as possible.
If anyone is interesting in coming along to the group, which meets at 10am, e-mail Ms Bentley on firstname.lastname@example.org The group is self-funded by Ms Bentley.
