TWO men were arrested after trying to entice two teenage girls in to their van.

The girls, aged 15 and 16 years were walking in Rectory Road in Pitsea on February 18 when a white van pulled up and the men inside tried to persuade them to get in.

The girls called police who searched the area.

Two men were arrested for public order offences.

They have been bailed until March 13.

Well it would depend on the age of these 'men', the police and media seem to class people of the same age men or children depending on the message they want to send out.

If they are around the same age or slightly older it would seem like normal teenage lad behaviour. If these 'men' were in their 40's or 50's then I concede its very alarming.

when I was about 19 20 these girls of that age were known as JAILBAIT! it is hard to tell the age some these girls are anyway it seems there was no harm done
