THIS year's Prince's Trust team in Thurrock raised over a thousand pounds.
The team of 14 young people - who make up Team Six - are all aged between 16 and 24 and raised the money through a sponsored walk, a raffle and a quiz night.
The £1,035 raised went towards building work to help finish the Karis-May Darling Community building in Corringham Park so the Karis-May Darling Foundation can open it as soon as possible.
The centre is due to open later this week.
The team finished their sponsored walk from the park to the Civic Offices on Wednesday, February 19, where they met Thurrock Mayor Tony Fish.
They also held a quiz night at the Crooked Billet, Billet Lane, Stanford-le-Hope.
