TWO vehicles were broken into overnight and valuables stolen in a Billericay break-in.

Between April 3 and 4, the window of a white Ford Transit van was smashed in Post Meadow and a Dell laptop computer was stolen and a black Adidas bag.

Also, the lock on a silver Hyundai van in Homefield Close was forced and a brand new Makita drill set and a Black and Decker drill were taken.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Pc Emily Lurton at Basildon police station on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
