FINAL preparations are underway for the annual Castle Point Show.
About 6,000 people attend the council-organised event every year, with thousands expected at this years show on Sunday.
Residents visiting Waterside Farm Showground, in Somnes Avenue, Canvey, will find an array arts, crafts confectionary and cake stalls, as well as donkey rides, inflatable castles and classic cars.
Transport museum vehicles will also be on show, as well as a display by Essex Fire and police.
Castle Point Borough Council has again set up a shuttle service which will be running from 10.30am to 4.30pm between the showground and School Lane car park, in South Benfleet, and the Paddocks Community Centre, Canvey Island.
Parking at both sites is free and the car park at School Lane is also right next to the train station for visitors arriving by rail.
Transportation is being provided by the Castle Point Transport Museum, who will be giving residents a free ride in their vintage buses.
The show will be held from 11am to 4pm. Entrance is £1 for adults and free for children.
