Lesley Billington, 54, of Cheddar Avenune, Westcliff, admitted drink-driving. She drove her Volkswagen Passat in Bridgewater Drive, Westcliff, with 101 micrgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath on July 2. The legal limit is 35. She was fined £400 and ordered to pay a £40 victim surcharge and £85 costs. She was also banned from driving for two years.

Chaz Gigg, 22, of Hawtree Close, Southend, admitted breaking a non-molestation order. He sent seven text messages to a woman on July 7 which he was banned from doing on June 12. He was fined £100 and ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs. He already had a conditional discharge, but no other action was taken against him.

Tina Middleton, 34, of London Road, Westcliff, admitted using threatening words or behaviour. She caused harassment, alarm or distress to a person in Westcliff on July 3. She was fined £50 and ordered to pay £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Tracey Wilkinson, 37, of Clarence Road, Rayleigh, admitted fraud. She wrote and signed a cheque to the value of £600 in the name of a man to cause him loss, on July 26 2010, of £270 on January 3 2011 and of £60 on June 12 2012. She also admitted stealing a Tag Heuer watch from the man worth $170 (£100). She was given a conditional discharge for 12 months and ordered to pay a £15 victim surcharge.

Kevin Sanderson, 54, of Eastwood Lane South, Westcliff, was served a domestic violence protection notice. Police applied to magistrates for the notice on July 19.

Nicholas Jemson, 47, of no fixed abode, admitted theft. He stole hair straighteners, a cuddly toy and an electric razor worth £187.98, from Boots in Southend on July 19. He also admitted assaulting a man by beating him. He was sent to prison for eight weeks for each offence to run concurrently.
