Fire crews called to Wickford house fire
Two fire crews were called to tackle a blaze in a Wickford home.
The firefighters, from Wickford and Rayleigh Weir, were called to Kenley Close just before 6.40am today.
They used breathing apparatus to put the fire out and reported the ground floor of the home was smoke logged.
They had put the fire out within 20 minutes and are still investigation the cause of the fire.
It is understood no one was hurt.
