TWO people were seriously injured in a three-vehicle road crash.
A motorcyclist, aged 17, suffered a suspected broken leg when he was involved in the rush-hour crash.
He was rushed to Basildon Hospital for treatment along with a 21-year-old female driver of a black Kia. Their injuries are both said to be serious, but not life-threatening.
The crash happened when the Kia, a blue BMW ans a 125cc motorbike collided at the junction of Central Wall Road and Harvest Road, Canvey, at about 5.30pm last night.
The driver of the BMW was uninjured.
Traffic built up on Sommes Avenue and Canvey Road as a result of the crash.
Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information about the events leading up to the collision. They can call investigating officer PC Neil Coalbran at Laindon road policing office on 101.
