A FORMER Radio 1 DJ has admitted a further string of sex offences against young boys.
Chris Denning, 73, from Basildon, pleaded guilty to ten charges of indecent assault on a male, a charge of gross indecency and another of indecency with a child when he appeared at court today.
It brings the total number of offences he has admitted to 41.
He will return to Southwark Crown Court, in London, to be sentenced on Tuesday, December 9.
Denning also denied one count of indecent assault on a male during his appearance today.
He was one of the original Radio 1 line-up when the station was launched in 1967.
He was also the first announcer heard on BBC2 when the television channel took to the air in 1964.
Denning was first arrested by detectives from sex crime inquiry Operation Yewtree in June last year.
