Picture from the past: Basildon bakery
When every tyre on Basildon Bakeries’ 13-strong fleet of delivery vans was slashed in May, 1993, staff, including those on their day off worked through the night to provide new fittings.
The vans were back on the road in time for the 3am deliveries.
